In addition to writing and editing for All About Jazz and contributing to PostGenre Media, I document the improvised music in the Black American tradition and creative music scene in northeast Ohio. MSM outlets in this market largely ignore this music (it’s a rock and classical town), so I currently host this coverage on my blog, let’s call this.
